How hard it is these days for me to find solitude, to keep myself in silence. Indeed, hectic days are the normal rather than the exception but it’s getting harder for me to find solitude. Deep in my heart I know how crucial it is for every one to have a regular quality solitude. But the busyness of my life has more and more often trampled upon those chances of solitude. It’s a matter of discipline, I suppose.
Were I to go further, having a regular quality solitude is not an option - it’s an imperative. Even major business and leadership books now speak on this, how can I, a Christian, a seminary graduate, abandon solitude?
