People love to have secrets. But why? Why are we so afraid to open ourselves to others? Not to every "other", of course, but at least to our dear friends, to our colleagues, to those people around us whom we meet for many hours a day and to those dear to our hearts.
This is one thing I cannot comprehend of men and women alike. There are times when I realize how I’ve been standing in the boundaries … on subjects people consider as "secrets".
It gives me a sense of unease dealing with such subjects, especially with those around me, people I oftenly meet, people close to me.
I realise though that there are also those people who try to "use" or manipulate my attitude, but the casualties are low, right? So, what is it about secrets that people love to keep?
